.. a long time ago ..

These are the best of more than a dozen 3d multiplayer levels I made for the Unreal Tournament series (UT'99, UT2003, UT2004) >>> Unreal Engine 1 / 2 / 2.5.
Simply fueled by pure imagination, these levels were designed and build entirely by myself, using Unreal Editor only. (except of a few retail plant deco-meshes)

I made all the visible geometry (architecture-design, 3d-modeling, details), lighting, texturing, gameplay-design (floorplan-design, weapon and item placement)
as well as ambience (ambient-sounds and special effects for atmosphere), zoning, optimizing FPS, ingame previews, and full bot-support for singleplayer mode.

                                        > >   Created 15 to 20 years ago, these environments showcased state-of-the-art videogame graphics.

The pictures below show some quick 3d architecture visualisations (UE2) I built without any data from scratch, each within a day about 15 years ago.
That building in the first picture is the trademark of my hometown. I used selfmade textures made out of photographs taken on location for an original look.
Last but not least my first UT'99 hardcore deathmatch map (UE1), that offers some really intense multiplayer gameplay.

I am no 3d-artist nor a leveldesigner anymore, from 2016 onwards I focused on digital photography and PBR material creation for Unreal Engine 4.
I just recently jumped into Unreal Engine 5. Stay tuned for more updates and new UE5 texturepacks, available for your project very soon!
